Ray Barno, Woodwinds

As a long-time member of the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra, (18 time Grammy-winner!) Ray Barno has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. A graduate of Wilkes University, (BS in Music Education), and Montclair State University, (MA in Music), Mr. Barno has over 30 years teaching experience in the NJ and Brunswick County public school systems. Ray was featured soloist with the Sussex County Symphony Orchestra, performing the Mozart Clarinet Concerto. A former voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Mr. Barno has performed in festivals and casinos, on cruise ships, tv and radio, and opened for stars as diverse as Bobby Vinton and Al Martino, to Boots Randolph.
