Kate McDaniel / Voice

Kate McDaniel is a classically trained singer and voice teacher with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Converse College and Master’s degrees in Vocal Performance and Voice Pedagogy from The Boston Conservatory and Westminster Choir College, respectively. Some of her leading roles include L’enfant in Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and Dinah in a production of Trouble in Tahiti with the Carolina Master Chorale and Long Bay Symphony. She has also performed under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle, Jane Glover, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin as a choral singer. Kate loves to share her passion for music with others through her teaching. She strives to help each student to discover his or her own unique singing voice while teaching them how to sing with a healthier and more efficient technique.
